Fugitive of the Week, Oliver Nicholas Blackstone, In Custody

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces the arrest of former Fugitive of the Week, Oliver Nicholas Blackstone, 37. Blackstone was wanted on a parole violation, stemming from an underlying conviction Controlled Drug Acts Prohibited (NH RSA 318:B2).

Blackstone was featured as the Fugitive of the Week on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, and was taken into custody on October 8, 2024, following a three-hour standoff at a residence in Canterbury, NH.

Blackstone is now in custody and will face charges related to the initial warrant, as well as pending additional charges stemming from the standoff.

The Fugitive of the Week program was launched by the Department of Corrections in March of 2023 and each Wednesday, the Department shares information on a specific fugitive through various communications platforms, and with law enforcement through the New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center.
